We're only one week away for the theater release of the movie The Watchmen. I've read the Graphic Novel, so I know what the story is about. I'm curious to see what how the director is going to put ALL that information into one movie.

Also I've heard that the metaphoric pirate story will also be included. So I'm guessing the movie might be at least 2 hours long. Break it apart the pirate story will be thirty minutes long and the movie itself would be one and a half hours long.

I doubt one and a half hours will be enough to cover the whole story. If you ask me, the director should hold off the pirate story and make it an extra in the special edition DVD.

Whatever the case, I'm sure the movie will be great and will inspire future superheroes movies to come.

I've discovered the problem has been solved. The pirate story "The Black Freighter" separate DVD that'll be coming soon.

To be honest I don't know what to make of it. On one hand we don't have to worry about sitting in the theater for 3 hours watching the movie. But on the other hand, we're going to loose how the Black Freighter story give metaphors on each scene as well as the cool seaways in-between them.
