A few years ago I read this webcomic called Crossoverkill.

I loved this project made by passionate individuals so much that I wanted to contribute to it. I also wanted a good excuse to make a homage to a poster Jim Lee made for X Men issue 1.

This piece you see before you is part 1 of a 4 part wide poster. I designed each cover to be it’s own composition and want to give each part it’s respected exposure. Over the cource of October I’ll be posting the other parts of this poster. In Halloween I’ll show completed poster.

Interesting how I am noticing more details in the lineart than I did originally in the colored version. And now as I compare the two I am seeing the details I missed in the colored version. I am glad you posted this as it has given me a greater appreciation for the final product.
